Rental bike sell-o-rama

August 27th, 2010 - News

This summer’s rental bikes will go on sale Monday morning, September 6th (Labor Day) at 8 a.m.  All bikes are sold ‘As-Is.’  Customers are welcome to examine the fleet any time, but there will be no pre-sales, and the final prices will not be established until Sunday afternoon.

Rentals include 29′er hardtail mountain bikes, road bikes,  full suspension FSR XC’s, and our hard-working Hardrock Sports, which will be the least expensive bikes for sale at just over $300 each.

These are excellent values for used bikes because of the constant maintenance they receive.  Most of the hardtails were put into service when the spring fleet was sold on Memorial Day.

Out of town for the weekend?   Our fleet at the Monument Ride Center has a Buy-It-Now price every day:  719-488-5761

Resolutions

August 12th, 2010 - News

Cyclists seem to set new objectives late in the summer.  Maybe it’s an old ‘back to school’ mentality, but as the air gets cooler, we visualize new frontiers of fitness and adventure.  However you picture that next step, Criterium has goods and services to take you there.

For beginners, it all starts with a test ride on the bike path.  If you need a longer ride to decide if it is fun or not, our rental fee will be deducted from your bike purchase, so that you can get that longer ride experience.  Once you take that first step, we have riding classes to accelerate your skills.

Bicycle fit services help every rider ride more comfortably and efficiently.  It might be time for that fit session  you have been postponing.  A good fit extends your range, and makes you happy!

The service department has been upgrading equipment for riders all summer, and they will fit your project into the schedule with quick turn-around.

If you need a new objective, stop in and we will suggest some new rides.  Visit Tim at our Monument Ride Center for more destinations.  We are always here at the start of a great riding experience.
